Social Media and Website Management
Social Media
A significant part of my position included social media and website management.
I used Canva to create the graphics I posted. This included New Member posts, recruitment information, public events, and more. I took photos during events and scheduled photoshoots as well.
I also used the website to introduce new members, highlight alumni, and keep everyone up-to-date on chapter information.

Volunteer Coordination
Providing Opportunities and Resources
As the VPCR, I was responsible for giving our members opportunities for volunteering.
I reached out to different campus organizations for volunteer information, provided our members with resources (via our website), and tracked each member's volunteer hours.
I also arranged for events at the chapter house, ensuring members could volunteer from home and not worry about their hours.

Community Engagement
Interacting with the Community
I gained a lot of experience with community engagement. I spoke with other chapters, alumni, and prospective members, on behalf of the chapter.
We attended other chapters' events, teamed up for Greek Week, and spent time together during Homecoming, which strengthen Greek connections.
I also helped plan events that brought our community together; such as Taus for Paws, our dog toy making events, supporting the Coles County Animal Shelter.

Serving as the PHC Delegate
Panhellenic Board
As VPCR, I had the honor of serving as Alpha Sigma Tau's Panhellenic delegate.
Each week, I updated the Panhellenic board on what Beta Pi was up to recently, any upcoming events, and anything we needed to share.
Then, during our weekly chapter meeting, I told Beta Pi about everything that was mentioned at the PHC meeting; other chapter events, information from the PHC executive board, plus changes and developments surrounding past information.
